Those of us old enough to remember 1970′s jumble sales have watched in amazement at the great re-invention of the world of Jumble. I remember damp community halls with a few sparse wallpaper pasting tables, laden with knitted acrylic pullovers, balls of strectched tights and matted furry teddies. The Victoria pub, close to Mile End in London is a mixture of the Portobello Road back in the 80′s (where vintage clothing was practically invented) and the hard work of those jumble pioneers, Rock and Roll Jumble. Clothing, homemade cakes, hand made jewellery, haircuts, all served up in the relaxing environment of the The Victoria pub. http://www.thevictoriae3.com/jumblesales.html
